The Sledge try it events are run by the Edmonton Adaptive Sports Association (EASA) in order to provide individuals of all abilities with the opportunity to experience the sport of sledge hockey. The aim of the program includes aspects such as promoting physical activity, building teamwork and promoting overall well being for participants. The participants will have fun while learning the fundamentals of the sport (e.g. skating, passing, shooting) in a recreational environment. Members of EASA will be on hand to facilitate programming including coaches and/or players (subject to availability). The Edmonton Adaptive Sports Association will provide the sledges and sticks for the participants to use, each participant must provide their own personal safety equipment (e.g. hockey helmet with a cage is recommended & hockey gloves or other protective gloves).
*** All participants must complete and return the waiver on or before the day of the sledge demo -
